VIDA's Downloads Page is where you can access any content that has been made available for you to download. You will receive an email when someone has sent you assets to download. When you open the email you will see that you will have an Open in VIDA button. Click on this to take you to VIDA.

Once clicked you will be taken to VIDA's login page. The moment a new user gets sent an order they automatically have a limited access account created for VIDA. If you need support logging into VIDA, please take a look at our how-to login guide by clicking here.

Upon logging in via the Open in VIDA button you will be taken directly to your package to download. If you have multiple orders to download or are returning to VIDA you can access your downloads via the Downloads tab. Then click on your package to open it.

Once open, you have multiple ways to download your package. In the top right-hand corner of the page open in VIDA you can select to download all files in the package without folders, or with folders. The with folders folders downloaded replicate the folder structure as it was received by VIDA.

If you want to download individual assets rather than the whole package you can select individual assets within your order by clicking the check box.

Once the individual assets you want to download are selected you can select with or without folders by clicking on the appropriate button.

Once your preferred download option is selected you will see the following message that the download is commencing.

Your browser might have a similar message pop up asking you to allow access to Asepra Connect. For the best VIDA experience, please select yes and if possible enable any option that enables the browser to remember these preferences.

Once your download starts you will see a popup that Aspera Connect is launching.

You will be able to monitor your download's progress in your Aspera Connect window.

Troubleshooting: Did you see the following pop-up?

If you do not have Aspera Connect installed the download will not commence. If you are not familiar with Aspera Connect please click here to see our guide for downloading files with Aspera Connect.

If you do have Aspera Connect installed and are seeing this pop up please select Start Diagnostics.

If you see any error messages in your Aspera window advising you to check your UDP or firewall settings you may need to get our Aspera server whitelisted by your IT team/service provider. Please submit a ticket via the blue button at the top of this page.
