Why do I need to do this?
To keep your account and content secure, VIDA requires two-factor authentication (2FA) for all users.
Two-factor authentication means you need two things to log in:
Something you know – your email address
Something you have – your mobile phone, using an authenticator app
Instead of sending a code by text message, VIDA uses an authenticator app. This app generates a short six-digit code on your phone. The code refreshes every 30 seconds. You enter the current code when prompted to confirm it’s really you.
Setting this up is required before you can access VIDA, Launchpad or Connect 2.
What you will need before you start
Your VIDA account email address
